Individual & Couples Counseling · Washington
From flickering embers to enduring power.
Trauma-informed, neurodivergence-affirming therapy and Gottman-based relational repair — for people whose stories are shaped by culture, systems, and family.
Our Approach
Every person carries a spark. We help it grow steady.
Many of the people we work with have complex relationship histories — experiences that live in the body, show up in partnerships, and echo across generations. Healing doesn't happen in isolation from the world around us.
At Embers of Empowerment, we blend evidence-based modalities like EMDR and the Gottman Method with deep respect for your identity, culture, and lived experience.
Trauma-informed
Safety, choice, and pacing come first. We move at the speed your nervous system can trust.
Neurodivergence-affirming
Your brain isn't a problem to fix. We adapt therapy to how you think, feel, and process.
Systems-aware
We honor the micro and macro influences of culture, systems, and family on who you are.
Services
Specialized care for individuals and couples.
Trauma & EMDR
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing helps the brain reprocess painful memories so they lose their grip on the present.
Neurodivergent Care
Affirming support for ADHD, autism, and other neurotypes — including late diagnosis, burnout, masking, and sensory needs.
Gottman Method
Research-based couples therapy to rebuild friendship, manage conflict, and create shared meaning.
Infidelity & Relational Repair
A structured path through betrayal — atonement, attunement, and attachment — whether you rebuild together or part with clarity.
Individual Counseling
A steady space to explore anxiety, grief, identity, family patterns, and the stories you carry.
Couples Counseling
For partners navigating disconnection, life transitions, or complex relationship histories — together.
